We got back on the road and while Jackie drove Chris made reservations using points on the smart phone.  We wondered what we did before smartphones.  We also found a pretty good radio station as we were driving, Steve FM.  We took a picture for our friend, Steve.

We made one last stop at another rest area to use the bathroom, Chris took over behind the wheel and Jackie read to him.  We are reading “My Sister’s Keeper”, which is probably going to be sad in the end.  We made it all the way to Johnson City, TN to our Holiday Inn Express.  The hotel seems really new and at 7:30 at night there were only a few other cars in the parking lot and being Sunday in the South, most restaurants are closed so all the people can’t be out eating.  We pretty much had the place to ourselves.    Chris commented that he probably could have driven another couple of hours despite us having driven 650 miles for the day.
